5 Top tips for improving your blog
Everyday people are trying to improve there blog to make it stand out from the crowd. There are many factors that can improve your blog and make your blog more successful. In this post we will go though five of the best ways to improve your blog.
1.Post regularly
You should update your blogs with new content on a regular basis to keep your readers coming back. You can schedule your posts in WordPress so if you cant post on a regular schedule WordPress can do this for you . If you let long periods of time pass without updating your content you will loose regular visitors.
2.Link to other posts in your blog
A great way to get more website hits is to put internal links to other content in your website. Just hyperlink text in the main body of your posts and hopefully people that are reading your blog posts will click the hyperlinks to read the post which hopefully links in with the content they have already been reading.
3.Stay social
Keep your blog social by putting links to your Twitter and Facebook account on your blog. You can put like and tweet buttons on all your pages ( in WordPress you can do this automatically using plugins) As well as this you can also add links to your Twitter and Facebook accounts on your blog so that people can keep up to date with your blog from Twitter and Facebook.
4.Don’t try to please everyone with your posts
Try to keep your posts to your specific niche and subject. Your blog will not succeed if you talk about many different subjects as you will not be able to keep regular users as they will not be interested in all the subjects you are trying to cater for.
5.Start small but make sure to expand
When you first start a blog it will most proberly be a small in fairly inexpensive website with basic functionality. However soon enough your traffic will start to build. As well as this so will your blogs revenue. Make your you contribute some of that to improving your site by hiring extra writers and better themes etc…
