WordPress Plugin: Add meta tags
Meta tags are used my search engines when they are crawling through websites and are an important factor of SEO. They provide the search engine with information about the site that they are crawling. Meta tags are usually added to the <Head> tag of your HTML code. However in WordPress you do not need to create the HTML yourself so you will not normally add meta tags. However ‘add meta tags’ is a great plugin for adding meta tags to your WordPress site. You can download this plugin from Here.
1. After you have installed the plugin go into the settings panel and select Meta tags.
2. From this page you can customize your websites meta tags and the meta description used by search engines
