Humble Beginnings

From a young age, Elijah Norton already had his heart set on entrepreneurship. Instead of following the more common career path of finding employment after graduation, he started a direct marketing call center, providing a service to businesses that needed a practical approach to reach their target markets more quickly and effectively. 

Elijah admits his company went through some growing pains. Initially, he ran the company with only two employees. He built a good foundation, preparing his employees for the job through training, building relationships with clients and suppliers, and using creative strategies to boost his business.

Elijah Norton’s experience in his first company taught him valuable lessons that he still values. He learned the value of patience, for one. According to him, his company was not an overnight success. 

It took about three years for his business to become stable. He said it is common for new entrepreneurs to feel discouraged during the first few years of their business. Sometimes a business may not take off as soon as you want or expect. 

You keep doing what needs to be done and doing it right. Keep learning. Know what you are doing right and improve on it. Do away with what does not work, costing you time and money and hurting your business.

Who is Elijah Norton?

Elijah Norton is an entrepreneur and founder of Veritas Global Protection, a leading vehicle service provider for which he serves as Executive Chairman and President. 

In 2011, Elijah started what would become Veritas Global Protection as a response to the growing need in the market for more innovative solutions and better customer service. 

A year later, Elijah began offering service contracts to dealerships. Seeing the growth in the market and the potential for an excellent future in the industry, Elijah decided to focus on the dealer business. In 2017, he decided to sell his call center so he could spend more time developing his new venture.
